DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS
Gala atmosphere depends, to a great extent, on every participant of the Ball
Women’s dress code
Floor-length evening gown (ankle length or longer), wide, not hampering movements while dancing.
Light, single-tone pastel colours are preferable.
Ballroom gloves, neat womanly heeled shoes which match the attire.
Evening hair style.
Headwear, historical dresses, casual leather bags, casual footwear, shoes without heels and platform shoes, sunglasses, dresses for sport ballroom dancing and shows, skirts shorter than the set length, tight evening dresses, multicoloured dresses, geometric patterns, black dresses, dresses with train, uncovered belly, low cleavage, sexy cutouts and slits, transparent skirts, furs, casual jackets and cardigans, huge bags and plastic bags.
It is highly recommended for ladies to take an evening wrap/shawl/wide scarf as weather protection. A fan is necessary to withstand heat.
Men’s dress code
A tuxedo, a tail coat or a dark evening suit, dress uniform. The preferable suit colour is black, but very dark shades of grey, blue and brown are permitted. Long-sleeved white-coloured shirt, a bow-tie, classic shoes. White gloves are welcomed.
Headwear, light-coloured suits, multicolored shirts, shirts with patterns, sunglasses, historical attire, black shoes with white dress trousers, bags and plastic bags.
Please, be aware that ladies and gentlemen who do not comply with the dress code requirements will be denied entry to the Ball, regardless of their invitations.
