📌 DANCE OFF FOR THE VICTORY! ALL-CITY FLASHMOB DEDICATED TO VICTORY DAY
On the 9th of May 2020 the ballroom event “Dance off for the Victory!” dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place. For the first time it was implemented online.
More than 50 officers’ and civilian couples from different Russian cities ( Svastopol, Yalta, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Odintsovo, Pushkino, Istra, Ufa, Volgograd, Ployarny, Kataisk) and foreign countries (Transnistria, Mexico and Switzerland) joined the livestream right from their homes to glorify by dancing, as a symbol of peace, the feat of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
And on June 24, 2020 a flashmob dedicated to the Victory Parade was held in a traditional offline format. It was the first offline event in the framework of the VII Grand Sevastopol Charity Officers’ Ball “Victory!” preparation.
The event was dedicated to women who voluntarily went to defend their Motherland - to doctors, pilots, scouts, snipers and many others who did their best in the rear and in the army to crush the enemy.
On August 16, the III Beauty Academy took place in the Catherine Hall of the House of Navy Officers in Sevastopol. It was a meeting dedicated to the creation of a ballroom image and etiquette.
The event combined an informative lecture from the head of the Grand Sevastopol Officers’ Ball project Yekaterina Grafodatskaya, a consultation of the beauty partner of the event - the head of the BROSKO beauty parlour Valeria Kondratenko and a presentation of ball looks.
During the Beauty Academy, the participants of the ball learned what the features of the ballroom outfits are, how to choose the right look for the ball for a lady, how to prepare for the event for men, what should be taken into account and what mistakes to avoid.
The event annually attracts partners for cooperation and holds special promotions for all participants of the Ball.
As an ancient oriental wisdom has it: “there is no goal, there is a way”. Our exciting, eventful and wonderful way that we follow together with our participants is our rehearsals to the Sevastopol Officers’ Ball. It gets into the life of each participant and unnoticeably opens a new universe, whose name is unification in creativity. Each choreographer contributes a part of their souls, their experience and love for work.
The process of preparation is inner transformation, painstaking work on oneself, constant development, great patience and concentration. The closer to the Ball, to our goal, the more we want to slow down the time, to prolong our dancing meetings where we all become friends. We will miss you so much, our dear couples!
